New for 2010 - Early Applications and Offers
Accommodation for 2010 is reserved from April 2009 onwards and places are granted on a 'first come, first serve' basis.
Accommodation applications are made online and there are no application fees. There is also no obligation to accept an accommodation offer should one be made.
We therefore advise you to apply online for accommodation early in the year and before making an application for a university place. Accommodation applications are free. If you choose to accept an accommodation offer you will need to pay an $80 acceptance fee and a $500 security deposit within the time given on our letter of offer. The application fee is not refundable, however the security deposit may be refundable - please refer to the terms and conditions of residence.
How we Allocate Accommodation
Accommodation is offered to students based on the date of application. If your first preference is no longer available, you will be offered your second and then third preference. If all preferences are no longer available, you will still be offered any remaining accommodation on that campus. You will not lose your place in the queue because your preferences are no longer available. Once you have moved in, you may ask to be moved to another residence: if places become available requests will be granted.
