Application Overview

Accommodation throughout  the academic year is allocated to students who apply through the accommodation services website.

Submitting an application does not guarantee placement at Accommodation Services or in your preferred residence. Usually we receive more applications than the number of rooms/beds we manage.

Students much submit all applications online through the Accommodation Services website. Received applications are automatically placed on the accommodation waiting list. Applications open early in the new year for the next consecutive year.

Accommodation Services makes offers for accommodation to students based on the date that the application is submitted.  Offers are sent to the students by email to the address nominated on your application. Please check your email regularly so that any correspondence or offers are not missed.

Generally a student is given two weeks to accept an accommodation offer.  An $150 holding fee and $500 security deposit is required to be paid at the time of acceptance.  Your offer email will contain all the required information about the place being offered, and the action required to confirm the place. If a response is not received before the offer expiry date, the offer is automatically cancelled and the position offered to the next person on the waiting list.
